Well, this list might be okay for people who sing in the shower and only shower once a week, but where is the melody and harmony? What happened to Peggy Lee? Dionne Warwick? Somebody got Whitney’s surname all wrong? Never heard of Sarah Brightman, but does she outrate J.D.L? How come that old belter Bassey got a place? Finally, what list could ignore Diana Krall yet include Cher and Byonce?

Thanks for your comment, Ted. Sorry you didn’t like our list – you can’t win them all!
