Nail polish or varnish, which ever you prefer, is fun playful and flirty. Polish can be a subtle or bold way of expressing oneself. They use their hands differently pushing back their hair more, touching their face and fingering their rings, part of this is to let the other person see their nails and view their reaction. The second reason is they are enjoying themselves as the hand does feel different when nail varnish is applied.
Nail varnish is a simple and relatively inexpensive way to feel flamboyant and frivolous. What better way to give yourself a lift on a rainy Monday morning than to look down at your hands and see a splash of colour? These are the mornings to wear your brightest and best colours.
So have fun with your nails and if you are feeling down, you could do a lot worse than painting your nails in a shade that compliments your hands.
Oh but don’t forget to take it off when it becomes chipped it looks awful. Not a good look.
